Cara Mengkonfigurasi IP Address Debian 6 Server


 
Kali ini saya akan menjelaskan cara Konfigurasi IP Address dan Konfigurasi Network di Debian Server. Ip address dan konfigurasi network dibutuhkan oleh suatu server untuk berkomunikasi dalam jaringan tersebut. Bayangkan apabila suatu server tidak memiliki konfigurasi network, dia hanya akan menjadi server. Ya benar tetap akan menjadi server, hanya kehilangan fungsionalnya sebagai server untuk berkomunikasi ke jaringan. Kali ini saya menggukan debian 6 sebagi sistem operasinya.

Detail IP yang saya gunakan:

IPv4
IP 192.168.10.10
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Network 192.168.10.0
DNS
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

Langkah 
  • Pertama pastikan server dalam keadaan hidup dan terhubung ke jaringan.
  • Lalu buka file konfigurasi interfaces dengan editor, dengan perintah nano /etc/network/interfaces
  • Ini tampilan awal setelah kita buka, dimana masih bawaan dari instalasi awal.


  •  Lalu kita edit dan masukan ip yang akan kita gunakan nantinya.


  • Lalu kita keluar editor, tekan Ctrl + x lalu tekan y dan tekan enter.



  • Buka file konfigurasi resolv.conf, dengan perintah nano /etc/resolv.conf

  • 7. Edit file konfigurasi resolv.conf, masukan dns kita. Kali ini saya menggukanakan dns google. Lalu keluar editor.

  • 8. Lalu restart konfigurasinya dengan perintah /etc/init.d/networking restart. atau service networking restart

  • Lalu coba ifconfig untuk mengecek alamat ip dari interfaces


                                Jika berhasil maka terdapat ip yang tadi dimasukkan


Kesimpulan

Konfigurasi IP address pada debian ini berguna agar mesin dapat berkomunikasi dengan mesin lain pada jaringan tersebut atau sebagai identitas suatu komputer. Sehingga dapat menggunakan aplikasi server yang berhubungan dengan jaringan. Dan dapat melakukan fungsionalitasnya sebagai server.
